What's school without homework! Homework is the best way to practice what we've been doing in class every day. If you're doing about 45 minutes to one hour of work every night, you'll be getting all of the practice you need. Add to that about 30-40 minutes of reading and writing, and you have the recipe for being a successful 5th grade student.
Here's what to expect each week: Math home work almost every night, Word Work, and eventually, some writing.
Do yourself a favor...since you have all week, complete some of the work each night. Make a schedule that gets the work done and doesn't put you in the position of having too much to do at the last minute. That puts extra pressure on you, and that's not conducive to completing quality work. School will be part of your life for a few years, so take command of your scholastic future! The end result is good work habits, good grades, and a happy, successful you.
